Welcome to the internal information channel (“internal channel”) of FUNDACIÓN BIOFÍSICA BIZKAIA/BIOFISIKA BIZKAIA FUNDAZIOA (“FBB”) implanted after the approval of its Internal Information System (“IIS”) complying with what is stated in Law 2/2023, dated the 20th of February, that regulates the protection of persons reporting on regulatory and anti-corruption infringements (“Law 2/2023”).
The workers (whichever their regime, including trainees or in training period), the trustees, members of FBB management or third parties (such as self-employed, suppliers, contractors, sub-contractors), may reveal information through this internal channel on (i) potential criminal offences, (ii) serious or very serious administrative offences, or (iii) actions or omissions that may constitute a breach of the European Union Law, providing it is within the scope of application of the EU acts, it affects the financial interests of the EU, or impacts on the domestic market.
The communication of information which derives from or is in the context of merely personal conflicts with no criminal or administrative implications, is excluded, or any other not related to the FBB activity.
This internal channel enables to conduct written and/or verbal communications, always confidentially, and even anonymously. The whistle-blower will be able to timely follow up the communication made, and their communication will be processed as per the approved procedure.
The whistle-blowers have the protection against retaliation provided in title seven of Law 2/2023.
