Jesús Vilchez

Postdoctoral fellow

Jesús Vílchez is a Postdoctoral fellow employed by the Fundación Biofisika Bizkaia in the “Structural Biology of Disease Mechanisms” research group. His research focuses on determining the structure and molecular mechanism of choline transporters and the human chaperone Hsp60 by cryo-EM. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Granada (Spain), a Master of Science in Condensed Matter Physics and Biological Systems at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain) and a PhD at the University of the Basque County (EHU).
