We invite highly motivated candidates to apply for an immediately available Research Assistant position in the laboratory of Dr. Vadim Frolov at the Basque Centre for Biophysics (IBF; www.biofisika.org) in Leioa, Spain.
The candidate will apply advanced biophysical techniques, such as single molecule fluorescence microscopy, atomic force microscopy and nanopore molecular sensing, to characterize nanomechanical properties and mechano-sensing by synthetic tubular membrane network. The work will be conducted in the membrane nanomechanics group focused on unraveling and exploring fundamental molecular mechanisms of cellular membrane morphogenesis and remodeling, in life and disease.
