We are offering a research assistant position at the IBF (Leioa), under the supervision of Dr. Dmitry Sinelshchikov.
The research project focuses on the development of novel mathematical models in biophysics and methods for their investigation. Possible specific topics include but are not limited to mathematical modeling of cavitation processes with applications to biomedicine, mathematical modeling of wound healing and mathematical modeling of cancer. There is also an opportunity to develop and apply analytical and numerical methods for studying dynamical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in any of the following areas mathematics, applied mathematics, physics and engineering, and will be capable of contributing effectively to the team’s research objectives.
The maximum duration of the contract is nine months.
